What We Do
☻
Child & Youth Therapy
We use an art and play-based approach to help children and youth address their emotional needs. Art and play in a therapeutic setting encourages the people to learn more about their nervous system, thinking/ behaviour patterns and gain the ability to self-regulate and self-advocate.
❋
Parent Coaching
Parent coaching can help you to gain insight into your approaches and reactions to your child. Learn to shift your lens and gain skills to support your child where they're at.
✦
Supervision
Case consultation for counsellors/ therapists looking for insight, guidance, and supervision around using art and play therapy to support those with complex disabilities.
Clinical supervision for practitioners working towards their RCAT, CCC, or RCC designations.
✿
Adult Therapy
Yes! We help adults too! We used a client-based approach to help unique individuals explore their nervous system, bodies, and minds. We integrate a variety of approaches to follow your lead including art therapy, movement, IFS, humanistic, and feminist modalities. We use neuro-affirming approaches to help you feel seen and heard and to reach your regulation needs and goals.

Our Approach
Colour Wheel Counselling and Supervision specializes in child and youth therapy. We also support families and help parents learn to better understand their children and to develop a strong relationship based on attunement, attachment, and co-regulation.
We offer clinical supervision and consultation for neurodivergent and disabled practitioners or for those wanting to learn more about neuro-affirming practices, art therapy, or play therapy interventions.
We use a client-centered, strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming approach to address therapeutic goals such as increased insight, emotional expression, regulation, executive functioning and self-advocacy. We integrate art and play therapy approaches to keep kids, teens, and adults engaged and working on their goals.
We aim to create a person-centered and sensory friendly community hub where people can come as they are.
